As 2024 comes to a close, we at Connect Community Village want to take a moment to reflect on an incredible year filled with milestones, community support, and heartfelt gratitude. This year, we’ve taken huge steps forward in our mission to create a faith-based transitional community for veterans. Here’s a look back at everything we’ve accomplished together:

2024 Highlights

January – December: Building Together

Throughout the year, we focused on infrastructure projects at the Bluegrass Veterans Ranch, including workdays and community-building events. From building picnic tables to renovating the barn, these efforts wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless dedication of our volunteers and donors.

May 16, 2024: Salute to Valor

Our “Salute to Valor” event, featuring comedian and veteran Bobby Henline, was a night to remember! Held at the Center for Rural Development, this inspiring evening brought the community together to celebrate resilience, honor our heroes, and raise support for the ranch.

November 8, 2024: Dedication Ceremony

The highlight of our year was the Bluegrass Veterans Ranch Dedication Ceremony, where we officially opened the ranch to the community. It was an emotional and joyful day, marking a new chapter in our mission to serve veterans.

Sponsorships for Salute to Valor (May 2025)

• 4 sponsorships of $1,000.00 for our keynote speaker
• 5 sponsorships of $1,000.00 to cover event costs
• Table sponsorships: $600.00 per table (both civilian and veterans tables)
• Donations for live and silent auctions

Support for the 2025 Connect Community Village Lake Cumberland 5K Race (July 12, 2025)

• $200.00 sponsorships include your logo on the back of the race T-shirt

General Donations

Any amount helps, but the following contributions will make a huge difference:

• Monthly donations of $100.00 (or any amount)
• Sponsorships for:
  • Tiny Cottages: $10,000.00 – $40,000.00
  • K-9 Kennels: $5,000.00
  • Chapel: $5,000.00
  • Pavilion: $1,000.00
  • Barn: $1,000.00
• Additional needs:
  • Sound systems for the Chapel, Barn, and Amphitheater
  • Vehicles and equipment: pickup truck, farm tractor, trailer, golf cart
