Who We Are

Our Board

The CCV Board of Directors consists of eight community volunteers. The board’s dedication and commitment to the initiative and the community provides the guidance and support needed to achieve the CCV goals. The board of directors provides CCV oversight and accountability and helps ensure programs and services offered are effective and efficient. The board also has a key role in fundraising for Connect Community Village. Creating appropriate and beneficial partnerships that mutually benefit CCV and the community is priority one for the board of directors.

Virginia Dial

Director

Virginia recently completed her career in the Financial/Banking industry. She is the founder and President of Connect Community Village and the founder of Heartscry Ministry. Her education includes the University of Kentucky, The Kentucky School of Banking, and Trinity Theological Seminary. She lives in Somerset and has a son, a daughter, and two grandsons.

Sherry Caudill

Director

Sherry is a business woman and an entrepreneur. She and her husband are part owners of a local business, and operate several rental properties. She is the founder of Sweetpea & Co. where she displays her gifts & talents to create memory bears, handcrafted purses, and Christmas designs. She lives in Somerset with her husband.

Tyler Barrett

Director

Tyler is someone who has personally experienced the success of overcoming substance addiction. He lived in addiction for 17 years, and discovered that by faith in Jesus he could win his battle of addiction. He is employed as the manager of operations at a local company. He lives with his wife and their 6 children. He is committed to helping others overcome their personal battle of substance addiction.

Dylan Gorski

Director

Dylan is a local attorney who grew up in Monticello, Ky. He graduated from Berea Collage and the University of Kentucky College of Law. In his law practice, he has handled over 1,000 cases where drugs played a key role in the case. He has been able to get 100’s of individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction off the streets and into recovery.

Jim Dick

Director

Jim was born and raised in Clinton County, Ky. He attended Lindsey Wilson College and graduated from Western Kentucky University. He is a retired educator with the Pulaski County School System. He lives in Somerset. He has a daughter and granddaughter.

Frank Genetti

Director

Frank is the co-founder of the HARC program, a faith based organization centered around Character Building.  He has served on the Board of the Christian Community Coalition and was the past manager of the CDA Press Business Journal.  He served as the co-founder and President of CORP, a non profit foundation, that built strategic relationships with local and national politicians for “At Risk Communities.”  He has held several executive positions with major automobile franchises and was associated with Dean Witter Reynolds (now Morgan Stanley).  In the private business sector he was a designer, builder, and owner of several restaurants.  He has been involved with the Special Olympics, serving on the Board of Directors.  He has also served on the Board of Directors of C.U.R.E, a non-profit that deals internationally with human rights, and a past Board Member of the CCC, Christian Community Coalition of CDA.
