Today was a truly special day at Connect Community Village and the Bluegrass Veterans Ranch, as we had the honor of hosting Joshua Pinson’s Eagle Court of Honor. Surrounded by family, friends, Scout leaders, and members of our community, Joshua was formally recognized for his remarkable leadership, dedication, and service.
As part of earning his Eagle Scout Badge, Joshua designed and constructed the Serenity Park here at the Ranch—with the support and teamwork of Boy Scout Troop #170. This beautiful space provides a peaceful area for reflection and connection for the veterans who will call the Ranch home. The Serenity Park symbolizes hope, healing, and the strength found in community.
During today’s ceremony, the Serenity Park was officially dedicated to our veterans, marking an emotional and meaningful moment for everyone in attendance. Joshua was also presented with a commemorative plaque in recognition of his hard work, craftsmanship, and heartfelt commitment to those who have served our country.
We are deeply grateful to Joshua, his family, and Troop #170 for allowing Connect Community Village to be part of this milestone. This project will bless veterans for many years to come, and Joshua’s contribution will always be part of the Ranch’s story.
Thank you, Joshua — and congratulations Eagle Scout!
Your service made a difference. 🇺🇸
For God, and Veterans.
